Sometimes I wonder... Does the world really need more Christmas babes? And the answer is always yes... ^^
Nicely done pose, the female anatomy is perfectly worked out in the toon style, and the skin tone is amazingly well done. But then again, without knowledge of skin tones, you wouldn't be able to call yourself a true artist! (Well, unless you were a She-Hulk artist... XD)
Excuse all my terrible jokes, good sir. ^^

Haha. Yeah? I'll take your word on it! Keep it up! What programs do you use? I'm tryin' to learn the ropes to make my art look just as presentable as your awesome work.

Awesome work? WOW! Thanks for the compliment! As for programs, the first one I use is my warped 42 year old brain, a piece of paper and a hb pencil to do the rough sketchs. Then once every thing is to my liking, i do my clean final version with a mechanical pencil or inked pen.
I then scan it in and work with an older version of Photoshop and Illustrator depending on my mood. I'm also stating to use Painter.

See. I do this:
I do my rough sketches with pencil (mechanical) and then I go over it with a ballpoint pen. The thing is, when I scan it, it shows up REALLY crappy! I wish that I could find why my scanner does it. It's more for Photos, tho. So, I think I may pickup another one.
As for programs. I have CS2 but have no knowledge of how to color pictures using it. So, any help on that front would be sweet! I was actually thinking of picking up CS2 for Dummies (Er, Photoshop.) and going from there. But yeah. For now, my art sucks due to the lack of my being able to scan it without doctoring it up for a long time after...
Later, bro!

I don't think you need to buy another scanner.
I see from your notes that you are using an HP scanner all in one. You should be able to change the scanning mode when you open up your program. I usually use bw photo, illustration or bw drawing.
It could also be at how many DPI (dots per inch) you are scanning. The higher the dpi, the better the quality of the scan.
I'm not even at CS2. I have Photoshop 7 which works perfectly fine for me. As for how to colour your drawings, a "how to" book is good but there are plenty of tutorials on deviant art. Just type in tutorial and whatever other info word you want and see what pops up. Here's an excellent one....

I'll look into it and makin' the scanner scan my pictures better. I'll look over the tutorials, as well! Thanks!
