very much the deuteragonist type and a perfect example of playing Switzerland, Teddy has spent almost all of his time playing buffer and straight man to Maestro and "older brother" to Jellybean. exceptionally smart and an even thinker, Mastro is always calling him the "old man" of the group, even though the two are technically the same age. (nearly, anyway. they were hatched a day apart with Maestro ironically being the older of the two, making his insults, in Teddy's opinion, all the more ridiculous.
ever the thinker, he can often come off as a wet quilt in situations he's dragged into (by Maestro, of course).
he's protective of Jellybean, but in an older brother kind of way; he doesn't allow anyone to pick on her or tease her, especially not Maestro. While the chespin finds his teasing to be all in good fun, more often than not, Jellybean does not.
by the adults, he is often regarded as the oldest of the three plushy siblings, but this has more to ho with his maturity level by comparison to shy Jellybean and mischievous Maestro.
he and Maestro lock horns often, but not usually in a physical way as there's not much a froakie can do to a chespin special attack wise. he is less of a fighter than a diplomat and while it can infuriate him, he does his best to represent their little rarity sibling family as best he can.
he hates having to admit there might be actual evidence of he and Maestro being siblings.
