Pencil & paper with a message to write
I sit here on this winter night
Trying to express my feelings just right

On this Christmas day I am truly a grateful man
I am grateful to not be in a far off land
I am grateful that this last summer to you I did wed
To make you my wife and some day a mother
I even gained a new sister and brother

But most of all what I want to express
Is how grateful I am for you
A woman so beautiful and a love so true
I can honestly say I am the luckiest man
Because I have you

How can I express what words cannot describe?
There are no adjectives for all these feelings I have inside
What I am lacking, you put in
Where I have not gone, you've already been
What I have not felt, you make me feel
What others hide away, you let me see
When I am broke, you fix it wholly
Your skin so soft, your lips so sweet
Your beauty breath taking, it’s that of the angels

So on this Christmas morning, know one thing and know it true
That I am so very grateful, knowing I have you...

Mind, Heart, Body and Soul
Everything I give to you for the rest of eternity...
