Training time for Deedee and who better to serve as her 'mentor' than ruff, gruff, Drill Sergeant Nasty Artagnan?One day is in no way enough for adequate training, so the Gallade decides to make the most out of it by employing a few friends to teach her how to duck and dodge moves. The hard way.
Taylor is slightly disturbed, as the last time he saw this method of training, it landed him in a hospital with bite wounds the diameter of javelins in his side.
Hale doesn't know this (Obviously), and while worried, understands that Dee herself agreed to this shit.
Lucky for Dee though, Art's having them pull back. Just a little.
Gringoire seems to enjoy the idea of walloping his team rival's paramour for kicks.
Toto is being Toto.
And attempting to murder you is apparently Aoi's way of showing she cares.
Because what are friends for if not to beat the ever loving crap out of you so no one else will be able to? X3
Everyone's in their winter garb, except for Bifronela who's just too cool for sweaters and scarves and broke out her Master and Commander outfit for this gig. Because she's just that awesome apparently.

Granted, that final panel is exactly why Hale does not leave him behind in the Callahan Academy to train her younger batch of Pokemon. The rookies have some pretty epic horror stories to tell whenever the One-Eyed Devil decides to turn up for a visit.

I like how you included their battle plan in the last panel there to foreshadow what's gonna happen in the battle! I agree that a successful Dig would definitely be enough to OHKO any electric rodent.

Chewwie's always struck to me as being somewhat hyperactive XDXD She's a wonderful contrast to that dour-faced sourpuss chu next to her though. Either that, or Chewwie's been hitting back coffee shots before this task.

Toto's just playing, Gringoire's roped in by the fact that he doesn't really want Sam to be pissed off with him, Chomp and Chewwie are both big, playful-assed rodents, Dee's way to used to Aoi's attacks to become seriously injured by it and as for Gino---well darn, look at the little fella XDXD.
At any rate, she'll be more than ready to deal with Soda's shit after battling two Pikachus and a Raticate with Thunder, right?
Well, Art IS an ex-Rocket Pokemon. His training tactics are of course, borderline insane, but they do give results in a short time period. Notably, he likes training like this very often with Sal and Dela.
