A fearsome Demon Lord Digimon whose thirty-three legions of Demon Digimon refer to it as "King". It was once a Digimon who undertook the quest for ultimate knowledge but one day it was given the power to create its own knowledge, altering reality itself with lies and deceit.
The "Dark Brain", an evil entity lacking a physical form that was believed to have been sealed away during the ancient era of the Digital World, is actually the one behind the actions of this Digimon, using the Demon Lord as its arms and legs. Zaganmon, thanks to the power implanted in it by the Dark Brain, steals the intelligence of any Digimon possessing the desire to learn and then, with its own ingenuity, fills the empty minds of their victims with false knowledge. It has been observed that the more victims of this plan are gathered in one place, the Digital World around them changes due to the false information planted in them, it is feared that with the right amount gathered the entire world could change to one dominated by the mind of Zaganmon.
Its Special Moves consist of allowing itself to be possessed by the Dark Brain who possesses the magical knowledge of countless Digimon to conjure a series of curses with unpredictable effects (Pact with the Dark Brain), and firing a blast of compressed air from the cannons on its shoulders with the force to put a hole in any surface (Oxygen Eraser).
