Backstory:
Lea's mother runs a mobile catering service all over Unova, dragging her daughter along in her caravan.
Her father is the chief of a little restaurant in the Virginian Forest.
Due to the influence of her parents occupations Lea got interested in cooking and backing from an early age on and in later years would become an expert on pokemon food.
Beeing constantly on the move Lea was mostly home schooled and occasually able to stay in different local schools for a while.
It was during one of this stays that she met her best friend Evan.
When she turned 18 it was clear that thought her mother's live of traveling was very appealing Lea needed the freedom to decide where to go and moreover where to stay on her own.
A letter from her father provided an easy solution as he claimed an old friend of his Professor Juniper was desperately searching for young trainers willing to complete a device called pokedex and therefore asked his daughter to give a helping hand.
Not so much interested in catching pokemon but rather in going her own way Lea happily accepted and along with the pokedex got her first starter pokemon to accompany and protect her on the journey ahead a Tepig named Mochi.
Now in the present Lea and her pokemon travel the world rather in search of new ingredients and recipes then new pokemon.
The team mostly makes a living by selling selfmade pokemon snacks on market squares and creating special pokemon food on order, but since you can never have enough back savings Lea decided participating in the next tournament would not only bring in cash but also serve as a good advertisement for her snacks.

Personality:
"There's a recipe for everything" does not only fit Lea's favorite motto but also her personality.
The girl strongly believes that there's a solution for every problem and if you didn't find one, well that's only because you didn't search enough.
Nevertheless Lea's not one of this happy-go-lucky characters, though mostly optimistic and energetic she's a realist and knows there a limits to what one can achieve on his own
Since neither her father nor mother have much money to spend on their daughter, Lea's constantly counting her pennys and became more of a business woman than a trainer.

Trivial facts:

- While Lea's an excellent cook when it comes to known recipes her own creations turn out rather "interesting" and are mostly known to have some lethal side effects. Her pokemon know this very well and have learned to avoid her whenever she has one of her creative flashs.
(Not including Charles he would eat a brick if someone painted it with appetizing colors)
- Lea sometimes has slight pangs of conscience about the whole pokedex completion thing because in nearly one year she only had the time to catch five other pokemon from with two decided to stay with her on her own. However nobody ever mentionend a time limit.

Pokemon: Pelipper
Name: Charles
Personality: selfish
Attack: Water Pulse (Has a 20% chance to confuse the target)
Roost (Heals the user by half its max HP)
Pursuit (Has double power against, and can hit, Pokémon attempting to switch out)
Fling (Throws held item at the target; power depends on the item)
Item: Leftovers (Heals the holder by 1/16 its max HP at the end of each turn)
Data: Charles was the first pokemon Lea ever caught on her own as he was trying to steal her goods and in the process entangled himself in her shoulder bag. To this day he's also constantly seizing changes to devour Honey who he believes would make a delicious side dish.
He's easily distracted by food and not always willing to listen to his trainers commands.

Personality: Paranoic
Attack: Sweet Scent (lowers the target's evasion by one stage)
Bug Bite (if target has a berry, inflicts double damage and uses the berry)
Air Cutter (has an increased chance for a critical hit)
Gust (Inflicts regular damage and can hit Pokémon in the air.)
Item: Eviolite (Holder has 1.5× Defense and Special Defense, as long as it's not fully evolved)
Data: Honey as her name suggest is in charge of gathering one of the main incredients for Lea's Poke Snacks.
As she never evolved until now Honey is the weakest member of Lea's team and not really suited for battle.
Also due to constantly beeing the target of a certain hungry Pelipper she has developed a nice little case of paranoia and will faint at the sight of her own shadow.

Personality: Calm/Lethargic
Attack: Ancient power (Has a 10% chance to raise all of the user's stats by one stage)
Explosion (user faints)
Rock Throw (regular damage)
Fire Spin (prevents the target from fleeing and inflicts damage for 2-5 turns)
Item: BrightPowder (Moves targeting the holder have 0.9× chance to hit)
Data: Sol is the firm rock of the team. Half asleep all the time it will carry out his trainers commands and then doze of after a few seconds. Not many have seen it open it's eyes fully and even less where able to tell about it. All in all a friendly fellow as long as you don't wake it up. Alas, if you did better start running now.

Personality: Loyal
Attack: Heavy Slam (Power is higher when the user weighs more than the target, up to a maximum of 120)
Hyper Beam (User foregoes its next turn to recharge)
Fire Blast (Has a 10% chance to burn the target)
Heat Crash (Power is higher when the user weighs more than the target, up to a maximum of 120)
Item: Muscle Band (Increases the power of the holder's physical moves by 10%)
Data: Mochi is the evolved form of Lea's starter Pokemon Tepig. Beeing raised by humans since he was a little egg Mochi is very trustful and loyal to his trainer and would do everything to keep his family (Lea and her team) out of danger.
He may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but he's a hard worker and probably the only reason that keeps the group from gnawing at each others throat.

Personality: Charming/Graceful
Attack: Giga Drain (Heals the user by half the damage inflicted)
Attract (Target falls in love if it has the opposite gender, and has a 50% chance to refuse attacking the user)
Magical Leaf (Never misses)
Sleep Powder (Puts the target to sleep)
Item: Rose Incense (Increases the power of the holder's Grass moves by 20%)
Data: Don't be fooled by this little fellows charming appearance. Lile may look cute and act like a real lady most of the time, but showing her your back in battle may be the last mistake of your life. However outside of battle Lile wouldn't hurt a fly and is content of her charms to attract customers. She loves to dress up and participated in a few beauty contest along the journey.

Personality: Mature/Distant
Attack: Future Sight (Hits the target two turns later)
Psycho Cut (Has an increased chance for a critical hit)
Substitute (Transfers 1/4 of the user's max HP into a doll, protecting the user until it breaks)
Night Slash (Has an increased chance for a critical hit)
Item: Lax Incense (Increases the holder's Evasion by 5%)
Data: The most grown up member of the team. Aerius spends most of his team sighning over his teammates behaviour, sometimes asking himself why the heck he decided to travel with them. He was found by Lea on the edge of starvation in a shipping box at Castelia City harbour. How he got there or where he lived before their encounter is unknown, but after beeing cared for for a few weeks he decided to stay with his new team saying that someone had to keep them out of trouble.
