I think her cutie mar could be something related to painting in the night sky, kind of like per say she one night she was simply drawing more so as a younger filly or mare as it was for a school project, she had decided to draw what could be in the galaxy behyond what can be seen by looking up, the princess's had decided, specifically Luna to go and check out the classrooms that day so naturally they wanted to show off their projects yet Cosmics caught the eye of Princess Luna and she had asked."What are these little one?"She had asked this with a simple reply coming from cosmic."What i imagine what would be in the night sky."From that point on Luna had often visited cosmic, gathering up all her drawn ideas and then invited her to the castle to watch as she put them in the sky and when that happened, her cutie mark appear. A pencil trailing a swirly design of one of the drawing, her first one. The one she brought in to class that fateful day.

Maybe... Something to do with shining or shooting stars??? Like maybe she flies across the sky with the lost souls in Equestria and uses light magic to create shooting stars??? ?.? IDK...

Such a cutie, I love how you do your eyes, especially those luscious eyelashes.
As for cutie marks, well it always seems like ponies' purposes follow their names (i.e. Celestia, Luna, Applejack, ect) so what about something involving the cosmos. In fact, a beautiful paintbrush partway done painting an image of the cosmos onto Cosmic's flank would be cool (that way it involves your love for art, seeing as she is your ponysona), like she took part in making space or something.

you know her colour scheme reminds me of the aurora lights, seeing she is an alicorn i could see her being involved in generating Aurora or being able to control or become an an aurora, come to think of it couldnt you call aurora lights a cosmic anomaly.
