Well, Furret has always been one of my favorite pokemon growing up.I recently got one and he had almost perfect IVs so I EV trained him... has near the highest possible stats a Furret can have for attack and speed...
But competition wise, Furret still sucks. He has such a low base stat, but he's fun to use and quite the surprise to anybody else I battle.
I was recently playing Sly Cooper and it reminded me of Furret, so I decided to draw a modernized version of what sly cooper would wear using Furret as a base. I even gave him a more angular cane too.
This was the result... but my scanner discolored a small portion of his head. Done in ball point pen
But its not too bad

it was drawn with special 10 colored ball point pen. I just added in the background in paint shop pro to make it seem less bland.

I object to that whole, "It sucks competition-wise!" thing! I've had my ass handed to my by that bloody thing in SS!
Then again, the Battle Facilities are cheating bastards, but who am I to judge when I cheat too lol?
Seriously, that dang thing has OHKO'ed some of my Lucarios and ABSOLS before with moves like Dig and Sucker Punch/Quick Attack! 0A0!

I still hate them tho.
And distortion? I keep hearing people complain that their scanners screw up their pics... I don't get that. Then again, I tend to tint my scans colors to make tracing easier on Paint.NET, so maybe that's why... Do you mean things like shades are off, or it's too light or something?

No i mean literally there is some discoloration on his face because the paper i used was too large and didn't flatten properly in the scanner
my furret has and attack ans speed of 272
any Lucario will have higher than that if properly ev trained, regardless of IVs.
But yeah, sucker punching people is quite fun

Which is why I love Wide Guard. 
Odd thing: You know, Lucario's moveset has changed? It can learn Heal Pulse, AND Wide Guard, I believe.
So, if you had a jackal with good overall defense and offense... You could have a good, powerful Combat Medic for Double and Triple Battles. Since Heal Pulse doesn't heal the user and all. :/

I don't depend on Sucker Punch. Especially since Gen V apparently has moves that screw that tactic over lol.
Also... That rock type move that reduced lots of guys to low tiers? Unless you transfer in a guy and breed the move down or have a Poke that'll automatically learn it, it's essentially a purely Wild move now. The TM got killed off lol.

Well seeing as how i only sucker punch for the lolz and its not part of my main strategy, I'm not worried.
Good luck ultizing healers effectively in Pokemon. It's still very difficult
