Absolutly a great shot! The water levels are indeed not equal next to the wooden pillars, but still, great shot!

I've rather liked how vibrant you've been able to photograph blues in water scenes. What did do to get the shots that way?

Thank you. Uhh I guess it was just natural partly but I did edit it a little in psp. Saturation enhansement.

this picture is amazing!! i love this!! you did an awesome job on this photo.. the only thing i see wrong with it is on the right in full view you can see that behind the pillers that the water and land is a little higher than from the center.. its just a little off.. but other than that this is an awesome picture its worth faving..

Thank you. Hmmmmm and I have no clue why that happened maybe the tide was comming in from the side or something.. weird.

The tide coming in would not make the land move. The problem lies in what height you set the camera up for both shots. It looks like you were standing for the shots left of the pillars and crouching for the picture to the right... the angles are totally different. (I know you put this together a long time ago and it's a little late to be commenting now, but I just needed to) Other than the color saturation and the change in the horizon line, I think its a really good pic. Most of it was put together well and I love that tree in the water.

Ooh Well acutally I had my camera on a tripod and then just rotated the camera as I took the shots.
I guess I'll never know what happened. Oh yeah and the land was sloping towards the beach so that could have been it also.

Simply beautiful
I love all the colours, and the sky looks great!
The depth of field looks nice too
I love this... There's so many interesting things to look at through the photo
Beautiful capture

I like the subject matter. It looks great. The very right of the picture does look strange the way the water level rises. That would be my only complaint with it,

Something about these colours. Saturated too much? But guess it could look atleast sometimes very cool by this way, just like on that one pretty popular dude's pictures.. I can't recall his name right now though. Michel and something? But I think those colours looks good.
The horizon seems to stay neatly in line for the whole picture although there's something wrong in that last picture. And it seems to be slightly brighter too than the rest of the photos. But that's not too bad.
Very good photo.

Hmm I think that the cloros might be over saturated.. i was trying to get alot of color in the shot.
Thanks for the critique.

its a nice attempt with two major issues that distract me -
1. the cyans are oversaturated. That draws attention to the chromatic aberration, always a no-no.
2. the water level jumps about an inch by the wooden pillars, bad stitch
still a very nice capture.

When you zoom in, it looks like the right side of the water is higher than the left side.
But actually it doesn't matters, because it's still a great shot.

wow!! this si amaazing!! I understand what GeeMPie was saying about the water level. The last pic on the right, it shows the water level much higher than the one before it.

Oh hmmm.. I think I see what your saying.. But the water wasnt any deeper I guess it looks deeper because its darker and the wood thingies are there?

Great picture.
But the right side of the picture doesn't look right.
It looks like the sea level is a few meter higher there.

This is so great, Kate! I love where you shot it from and the fact that its real gloomy over the ocean and still blue, yet cloudy, on land.
