Something very melancholy about the "expression" made by the windows(eyes) and the RCS pod "cavity" (mouth) - very sad face. (But VERY good picture.)

They aren't klingon empty shells.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to be able to walk under one and reach up and touch a tile - knowing what that machine had done and where it had been - wondering how many miles, what extremes of temperature, what epic sights, what cosmic dust from another galaxy had touched it before I did...

Never just pieces of equipment...
