This was an assignment for my illustration class where I had to depict a day in my life in three or more panels. This was by far the most frustrating assignment I've ever had to do simply because it was so open ended.I went though about 5 different versions of panels, arrangements, compositions, ideas, etc. I couldn't find something that I was satisfied with or that the professor liked remotely at all. But somehow in the end all the pieces fell where they needed to and I was able to come up with something I was somewhat pleased with.
I did the following piece on illustration board, acrylic wash for the background, blue col-erase pencil for the line work and prisma color pencils for the color.
I apologize for the terrible quality of the image but this is the one and only shot I have of my piece that someone took in class at about 90% complete. Currently the piece is being exhibited in Antwerp, Belgium and once I get it back I'll be uploading a hi-res scan.
