Description
This is an icon (stats) I made for N-Sider.com's forums. Though, the one being use has a graph line over. You can see what I'm taking about here , the icon is towards the bottom.I think this is my first isometric piece... Anyways, I really like how it came out that I was thinking of reproducing the whole map of Super Mario World. Maybe.

I'd love to see your attempt at making the map of SMW in this style. Nice little bit of Pixel Art here.

I would like to do such a piece as that, which I mean an isometric piece. With the angular perspective, and the simplicity in detail, and that the fact that you can design such masterpieces on Paint is incredible!
Although I found the angle on this particulat piece hard to indentify what is the building, but that because, when you are playing this classic SNES game, you see those castles in a flat 2D perspective from the side. But, as I worked out what was this building from, I appreciate an isometric piece designed for those in the know. In other words, recognise it from Super Mario World.
I will cease the advanced critique, otherwise you may be lost in what I was talking about.

No, I understand completly. When I just fooling with the piece I tried to make the haunted house, didn't come out quite well. I know if I do go through with reproducing the map of SMW in isometric pixel art, its not going to be easy. Heh. Anyways, thanks for commenting.

I think you are going to have fun making the house, especially drawing that "boo" ghost that floats by it.
I suggest you do the landmarks first, like haunted houses, and power buttons, etc, before tackling the map. Also, work out the map area before placing them on, otherwise it may be awkward to move stuff around in Paint, as it always is with Paint.

Thanks. I use plain ol' MSPaint to do all my pixel work. As for making things transparent and animated I use Animagic.
