i love the simplicity of this, but it makes me whistful. i think the last line is good, it's just a simple statement without shrouding it in a lot of flowery language, you just said what you wanted to say and it's beautiful.

It makes you wistful? good good so you know how I feel ..and I admit there was a bit of flowery language in the first version but I found it works without all that, too.
