Remember how I said I was making that one nightmare painting a series? Well, I finished this one months ago and I still have to get working on the next one...This represents my fear of basements.

I think that's what I love so much about your work. The composition of this is so simple and it's contrasted (or perhaps complimented, depending on how you look at it) by the emotionally and color heavy background. The position of your figure is lovely, almost bordering on contortion, and the thick background seems to have so much secrecy to it.
