I didn't want to erase, but there's vines and leaves around the arms, and the boots are leaf stems!

When I was making vines/roots around a stone golem in one of my drawings I found it better to have instead of just a line, two parallel lines to show that they actually have volume, if that makes sense. If youβre going for the small, thinner roots, wut u did is fine, but usually u should have a good mix of both, I reccomend studying real pictures. A lot of plants donβt even have the small, string thin roots.
Usually youβd start thick and get thinner towards the ends, and one more thing to remember is that roots, unless forced, nearly always grow downward toward the gravitational pull.
Donβt let that fact stop you from making roots that look more visually appealingly than they look realistic though, especially on plant bios like this
