Description My own approach to the trend of trying to draw something with your eyes closed, then redrawing it in a detailed way without "correcting" any of the mistakes you made. (It's a hilarious thing to do if you haven't tried it, especially when you make your original blind drawing big and complex.)

What I did was first try to draw a dinosaur with my eyes closed: in the top row, a tyrannosaurid; in the second row, a JP3 "Velociraptor;" in the bottom row, a Styracosaurus. Then, as in the original trend, I redrew it in detail. The tyrannosaur became a fluffy, beaked creature with a shocked expression, and for some reason, its hand is touching its snout. (I certainly didn't intend to draw its hand; I'm not sure where it came from.) The raptor became a bizarre quadruped with killing claws on its middle toes, and the Styracosaurus ended up looking more like an evolved Psittacosaurus sibiricus.

The third step of the process was to try and imagine the skulls of these beasts, with my limited knowledge of cranial anatomy. Then, in the fourth step, I drew the head of the creature again, in the same position as the first time, but in the "shrink-wrapped" dinosaur art style where there is vastly insufficient tissue on the skull. In all, it was a very fun way to waste some time.

This seems like a fun thing to try. You really pulled it off well.

I wouldn´t be surprised if a ceratopsid looking like that Styracosaurus actually existed.

Yeah, it's not too far from some ceratopsians we have found, except for the beak shape.
