Love the way the wig is flipped. Love that fur too. Faux or real? did you fill the tail with pollyfill at all?

the wig already came styled like that.
all the fur is fake except the photos were I wear fur on my hands, that's rabbit fur.
the tail is just a piece of fur fabric bent in half and with a wire run along the middle, it does have some polyester filling to make it stiffen.

How did you do the boots? all hand made?

the boots were slippers and then the fur was added on top, that way we didn't have to make the shoes from scratch. the fur was very thick so it didn't have to be perfect.

I basically made these mittens over an earlier pair of mittens I already had. I used felt as the base material which I would not recommend since when it stretches it tears and threads.
So I traced the contour of my arm over the fabric leaving some extra fabric along the sides since it was gonna be stitched up. Instead of cutting two pieces and then stitching them together I decided to skip stitching one side (the one without the thumb) and just folding over the fabric. Sew it up (hopefully with a sewing machine cuz my hand sewing came undone so fast...) fold it over the right side (cuz u sew it on the "wrong side") and wear them.
Then I glued the bunny fur on top and ta-dah!.
If I could do it over I would measure and cut the fur at the same time I would cut up the mittens before sewing, since the glue made the skin shrink a bit and warped the gloved a bit. Non-animal fur would prove more convinient in which case you wouldnt even need a fabric base.
Also, on the graphic the mittens are long cuz that's how I made them at first and then just cut 'em to the smaller size when I decided to make the hand furries.

what does it matter if they're real panties or not? is there such a thing as "fake panties"? But I see what you guys mean, so to answer your question these are real panties.
I think panties are a very important part to cosplay, and I am aware that some (if not most) of the costumes I wear have high probability for pantyshot fanservice, and I intend it in this way; so I always take extra care in choosing what kind of panties I wear.
In this case, it's actually a thong, since the back skirt was very short and I thought it would kill it to have granny panties covering my butt. I had a hard time deciding whether to go with an asian print like the costume or plain classic white (with a bunny logo). Now u know which one won.

you're right on that... when you think of girls with really short skirt in anime, you immediately think "OMG! this will lead to, at least, one pantyshot fanservice XD" or something related... it might sound pervy, but being able to actually see a girl's panties instead of a lycra equivalent gives you that feeling of being in an anime series... specially if the panties the cosplayer match the panties of the character XD (just joking, I've never seen a cosplayer like that XD)

hmm... good point on that... maybe I made the mistake (sorry, bad english)... I can't really find the word, but for example, by "fake" panties I was refering to a lycra (or another sinthetic fabric) piece of cloth used to cover the "real" panties, in the case of girls who wear really short skirts and are shy about the pantyshot issue... it's good to see you care that much for the result of a cosplay, that's a true cosplayer!!
