I fired up the rendering box for the first time in many years, and even bought some "new" content to be able to do this. By "new", I mean 5 years out of date, that works with Aiko 4 because I don't have the bankroll needed to upgrade to Genesis 8 characters and outfits. I don't even remember how to use 3d software to make models, and I wasn't very good when I did, so that is a problem. But I will need to if I want to make the ship itself. There is simply nothing on the market that will do.
Most of my library is for A3, so I am having trouble even dressing this A4 model, let alone going to Genesis! I was lucky enough to find hair and a morph that were close enough to what I was imagining for her. While I could try for a Genesis version (Kanade), this one is growing on me.

I use Blender. I get my human base meshes from MakeHuman, which I then hack about to produce my own personal abominations.
