He feels so much more different in Ultimate, I used the bombs alot but now they have to be detonated.
so now I find my self throwing them launching them further with a arrow/boomerang! its so fun

smash 64: use the spin attack a lot.

melee: use the boomerang a lot (for near close range attack).

brawl: same as gamecube (use the tornado as a advantage on opponents).

wii u (never played the 3ds much): use bomb a lot (damn those lvl. 9 cpu "camp" a lot)

all that on 1 vs 1 battle.

I think I used the bombs more and more each game. The wind boomerang in brawl could move enemies into it or me charging! but its gone now . . .
however the new bombs can do alot with alittle mastery

if the wii u version lvl. 9 wasn't a bunch of camper on 1-vs-1, i'll probably use the boomerang a lot.

yea, the boomerang is more useful in the brawl version, wish it does 1% damage in every few seconds, when the opponent is trap in the tornado.

guess i'll to play link on ultimate to get a better feel for it.

Young Link feels like the new Link If you want to go back and play him in Ultimate but still no wind boomerang.
Adult Link also lost his hook grab awell as a new Final smash so get used to that.

i usually don't play young link and toon link, they seem like a weaker version of the adult link, which is true and i assume young link is still base on his melee version.

yea, i heard from one of the nintendo or smash direct, seem like they tuned down adult link and his final smash look like zelda's from brawl and wii u version. (i don't play item on most of the time anyway).

don't have ultimate yet, but eventually i hope to get it, still playing my other "switch" games.
