THE ANATOMY TUTORIAL THAT MOST OF YOU SEEM TO WANT SO BAD.
Oh my god, I dont know why you people want me to teach you anatomy, because:
a.) I'm a horrible teacher
b.) I suck at anatomy myself. >:
BEFORE anyone decides to bash me for being so inaccurate and saying "YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG, BETCH." I would like to stress the fact that I am a self taught artist and have never taken any formal training in art. Everything I know is through my own experience, and anything in this tutorial is my own personal view on anatomy, and how I think it would be easier for other people to learn my method. Just as I stated in my tutorial, I found it weird using the head stacking method-- SO with this, I found a more helpful way to measure limbs without continuously drawing little circles.
It'd be really great if I actually help some of you out with this, so feel free to leave me a comment stating so. :] Those comments really make my day.
Also, feel free to link others to this page if you find it useful, and think that others might want to see it. :] Please ask before posting this on other sites first, and if you do, I need you to credit me, because I poured long hours of thought into this and I dont want it getting stolen. xD;;

This is amazing one of the tutorials that actually helped me XDD Can I ask, have you made any face tutorials??? I'm looking for one and most of them show how to draw an anime style face, I usually draw in that style but what I'm trying to do this year is start to draw semi-realistic, and if you don't have one could you point me in the right direction?

I never really looked up drawing faces, though. All the tutorials for those (from what I've seen) are taught with an anime perspective. What I'd recommend is looking at tutorials for REALISM. Not semi-realism. that way you can pick up points from those and learn what makes a face realistic-- then you can merge what you know with your anime style to create a semi-realism style that works for you. :]
Some points to remember:
- If you want your eyes to look "real", make them smaller. Anime styles push proportions very far, and thus eyes turn out larger, with small noses and mouths.
- More detail generally gives things a more realistic feel.
Basically, the more you know about human anatomy and proportions, the easier it'll be when you come up with a semi-realistic style. x3 just be a sponge! Take whatever information you can find and figure out a way you can apply it to your work.
