i'm bad at anatomy, but i do use photo refs when i first begin drawing the animals, but stop as soon as i have the basic anatomy down

I try to get the anatomy down before I draw without reference and do my own poses

yes I agree that everything shuldnt be perfect unless you're drawing realism but their are still those things that just look bad if you dont get them right. Well ether bad or chibi
