Really pretty. I looooove birds! Very appealing ^.^ As I look at it tho, my eyes want a little more warm colors. The macaws look real. They came out great.

Beautiful! My son's animal science class has a Macaw, but I think they should be in the wild if possible...

Thank you!
I agree, they should be in the wild. But by chance I watched a documentary on macaws the other night: they are already on the endangered list, due to poaching/ trapping and forest clearing. Very sad. So, in this case, places like that bird park in S.pore (where I sketched these guys) wich has a breeding program, help to protect them from dying out completely.

Lovely colour in this one My brother-in-law has one as a pet and it goes in the shower with him...I think it would go to work with him too if he let it.....not sure what I think of these beautiful birds living in houses though
.........guess the sad face says it all!

Oh, I quite agree they should be in their natural habitat. Unfortunately, there they are on the endangered species list already.... due to poachers and the ever more advancing jungle clearing. Really sad. In this case it's good to have places like this huge bird park in S.pore which even has a breeding program to save them from dying out completely.

I agree, bird parks are great especially when they are into breeding and are well done with huge enclosures for the birds. I visited one in the UK a while ago but he cages were so small it was sad!
