Description
Well, as you can see this one is quite different than the rest. Some people think Golden Freddy and Fredbear are not the same character and other say they are, me included. So, because I think this character is complicated, I did some research and thought that this animatronic could very much have something like Dissociative Identity Disorder (we're talking about human FNAF). As you know, the animatronic named Fredbear was the one that caused the bite, but this character (let's name him Golden Freddy) didn't see himself as Fredbear.

The children were not happy or excited by his performance, therefor, GF felt a lot of pressure which caused him to be frustrated with his persona. Because of this, he wanted to please the children and thought that what they wanted was something entirely different from him. That's where "Fredbear" comes in.

Golden Freddy creates a personality named Fredbear based on what he thought the ideal mascot should be: the opposite of him.

While GF acts like a passive, depressed and introvert character, Fredbear acts very hostile, aggressive and kind of sadistic towards people (specially children). In the games, Golden Freddy is not as aggressive as the other animatronics (actually being like a ghost). That's why I thought this situation could fit this mysterious animatronic.

The reason behind the DID that Golden Freddy suffers is the constant psychological abusive behavior from children . But even if the bite was caused by Fredbear, Golden Freddy still cares about kids, as shown in the last minigame where he states that he will put back together the crying child even if he doesn't recalls bitting him.

In summary, Fredbear (the other personality) represents the "ideal" character GF should be to actually be accepted by children. Also, the name Golden Freddy was created by himself due to him not being able to see himself as "Fredbear", the ideal mascot. So, because of his depressed state and low self-esteem, he thought he wasn't worth of using the name "Fredbear" as his own. Instead, he preferred to go with Golden Freddy.
