Ranus woke he felt dizzy he looked around and saw Nero talking to Leras. “N-Nero…” He choked out as a sob. Nero looked at him and smiled gently. “Hey bro…” He said softly as he rested a hand on Ranus’ forehead. “What’s happening?” Ranus asked trying to get free from the restraints that were holding him down. “He’s going to help you Ranus.” “If I don’t help him first…” a dark voice chuckled. Both Ranus and Nero’s eyes widened. “But I killed you!” Nero exclaimed. Kizo chuckled as he walked out of the shadows he was covered in blood from head to toe. “He snapped his fingers and tentacles shot out of the floor and wrestled Nero and Dante down. Kizo looked at Leras who glared at him. “As for you…you betrayed me…and now…I’ll make you watch how powerful I really am while I show the boy who’s in charge.” Kizo laughed as he looked at Ranus. Ranus struggled the best he could but it was hopeless. Kizo unzipped Ranus’ pants and pulled them past his knees along with his shorts. Ranus gasped and tears started to leak from his eyes. “Aww…poor little boy…don’t worry this won’t hurt a bit…” Kizo said with an evil chuckle that scared the living shit out of Ranus. Kizo’s hand suddenly was covered in fire and he reached down towards Ranus’ privates. Ranus realized what he was doing and begged and pleaded but it didn’t stop him from grasping him and burning him so bad he wanted to scream but he wouldn’t let this monster have satisfaction. When Ranus wasn’t screaming Kizo started to get angry and he squeezed and the flames got hotter and finely Ranus couldn’t contain it anymore he screamed louder than he ever had in his life this hurt like hell. “PLEASE STOP!!!” Ranus screamed. Suddenly a yell sounded out and Kizo was thrown back. Kizo growled and looked up in time to see Vergil freeing Dante and Nero. Dante was shocked. “Verge…you’re alive…?” “Yeah thanks a lot for leaving me behind Dante!” Vergil snapped he was still weak from his previous assault but his wounds were healing. Dante powered up he was raging mad now he and Vergil destroyed the demon mutant with ease. Nero hurried over to Ranus to calm him down. “Shh don’t move Ranus you’ll hurt yourself.” Nero said softly. Ranus screeched as Nero helped him put his coat over his lower body it hurt with the slightest bit of contact. “Jeez he burned ya bad didn’t he?” Ranus could only let out a sob he couldn’t talk it hurt to do even that. Leras pulled out a machine with large needle on the end of it and looked at Nero. “Nero I’d like to talk to you.” Nero looked at Ranus then back to Leras he willingly followed Leras wondering what was up. Nero looked at the machine and raised an eyebrow. “What’s that?” He asked. “Nero I’m going to inject this syringe into his body it’ll help fight off the poison and it should destroy the chip Kizo had me put in him, but what I’m worried about is in his condition I highly doubt his body will work with the fluid and…if that happens he…might not wake up…” Nero looked at Ranus a sad look on his face. “I don’t want him to see this though his body is unstable and the chemical are close to revealing his abilities to devil trigger like you can. If that happens…I don’t even want to have to deal with that if he panics. “Well how are we supposed to do that?” Leras looked at Ranus then went to the back room and came back with some sort of brace. “Here strap this to the hooks underneath the table put it around his neck it should keep his head down and make him unable to turn or lift it. Nero looked to Dante and tossed the brace to him. “Here put this on his neck hook it under the table.” Dante nodded and walked over to Ranus. “Hey there kid can you lift your head for me?” Dante asked calmly. Ranus trusted Dante so he did what he was told to do. “Good boy…” Ranus watched Dante with curious eyes. Ranus felt it tighten around his neck after Dante slide it around his neck then hooked the clasp together. Ranus tried to lift his head to see what he was doing then he realized what Dante had just done. Ranus watched as Leras walked over with a syringe in his hand he lowered it to Ranus’ neck and Ranus started to scream Leras drew his hand back and looked at Nero. “Maybe you should do it.” Leras said to Nero. Nero nodded and took it out of his hand and walked over to Ranus until he stood over him. Nero shushed him as he lowered it again. “It’s okay Ranus…” Nero said as he pricked the needle into Ranus’ jugular vein. Ranus felt dizzy and tired all the sudden he just laid there the feeling was relaxing almost calm and peaceful. Nero sighed as his brother’s body loosened up and became less tense. “Okay the sedative is in it’ll keep him drugged and confused but sadly he has to be awake when I do this so he’ll be in pain while I clean his body of the parasite’s poison. I’d recommend talking to him because this could take a while.” Leras explained. Nero nodded and Leras walked around Ranus to the and stood by his side

Ranus couldn’t see what was happening his vision was too blurry but he could hear voices. One of them was Nero and another Dante and another Vergil but he couldn’t remember the name of ther fourth voice. Ranus had a horrible feeling in his gut something didn’t feel right. He had a feeling something bad was about to happen. He could here the sound of a machine clicking and he saw the machine lower its self to his stomach he felt something cold on his stomach and he shivered. He moaned trying to show his discomfort to get the person to stop it but it didn’t work. Ranus could here Nero talking to him and he finely had to ask him he couldn’t contain his fear anymore or his curiosity. “N-Nero?” Ranus called out.
Nero looked down at Ranus he felt horrible. “Yeah I’m here Ranus its okay.” Nero explained trying to comfort him. “What is that? Who is that? What’s happening?” Nero didn’t know how to reply. “Ranus its okay just relax.” “What’s going on what are you doing? Please tell me!” Ranus begged. Nero looked at Ranus who had started to cry. “Ranus its okay I’m here you’ll be fine.” Dante finely answered Ranus’ question. “We think there’s something wrong with you. We’re going to try to fix it. We think this will do it.” Dante said as he pointed to the machine. Ranus felt something sharp on his stomach and he screeched in pain. A bright red glow filled the area as the process started and it dimmed when it was done and Ranus fell unconscious and his arm faded out. “Ranus?” Nero asked. “We just got to hope for him to wake now.” Leras said. “We’ll take him home.” Nero said and motioned for Dante who was supporting the still recovering Vergil to follow. Nero lifted Ranus and fell over. “Hey…Dante…wanna switch…” Dante chuckled and let go of Vergil and took Ranus instead.

Three weeks later…

Nero watched as Ranus’ eyes started to flutter open. “Hey Ranus…how you feeling?” Nero asked. Ranus eyed him. “Like I’m on fire...I ache all over…” “Yeah Dante said you should take it easy for a month or two…” Nero said. “So is Kizo really gone?” Ranus asked. Nero nodded and Ranus hugged him tightly. “You don’t know how many years I’ve waited for that man to die…he tortured me to near death and now I got to see him die…thank you…Nero…” “HEY! What about us…!?!” Dante complained. “You too Dante.” Ranus grinned.
