My girl Revvy!
Okay I'm gonna be honest I kind of completely forgot about her xD I was going through my character list to see who still needed a reference and suddenly stumbled upon her name. But I do remember really liking this manipulative and sneaky mare and felt like she could finally do with a reference. So this is going to be her ref drawing but it also needed a bakground version.
So I don't have that much to say about this, just that Revvy's reference is finalyy coming up! Enjoy you lovely people!

Hmmm.... that was a total fail. I was typing a coment and then... failed. Like seriously, I meant to open a new tab to do something else and literally switched pages from here.... so then everything I was typing was gone. *headdesk*
But, anyways, on to what I had been saying before I so rudely interrupted myself.
So yes, I wish I had the patience that you did to draw each character's reference separately. I mean, I'm sure my characters would love that kind of love, but I don't have that kind of time.
This is beautiful. I love her suck up pose here. It's so cute. And the background sky is beautiful. I love those colors so very much! Some day I will steal your background skills, I swear. Just watch out. If they ever go missing, you will know where to look. *runs away with skills*

Your way sure is easier though and you actually managed to finish all your refs whilst I'm still trying to catch up.

Yeah build has popped up to get in the way for me several times. But that's why I've gone to including a general description of the build in the artists comments with their information. It helps me avoid re-doing a bunch of references. Otherwise I know I'd never get done. And hair I draw separately for everyone. And that defiantly helps with making them more individual. I also picked a simple canter pose so that it would fit most any personality. Just the expression that doesn't all the time. But when I have someone who is slightly unfitting I just sketch in a different expression.

but I start with a simple uitline of what I want my hair to look like and then
fill it in with a smooth brush. When I've got the basic shape I get a smaller brush
for all those little loose strands c:

Revvy sounds like a fun character, and definitely has a lovely design. Once again, your cloudy backgrounds are sooo beautiful!! I especially love the rosy shades of the clouds, makes me think of a storm of petals. ^^

Ahh that is the problem we all face. Soo many characters with great stories and yet not enough time/attention to tell them all at once. XD Hopefully one day you will be able to tell her story.
