[link]OH MY GOSH! THE IDIOTICY NEVER ENDS! It just goes ON, and ON, and OOOOOON!
Alright, look, I grew up with Disney and Disney Channel. But over the past few years, it has gotten SICK! They broadcast HSM WAAAAAAYY too much! I have watched the first one twice by my will and I thought that was enough of that. Then...they started broadcasting it everytime I turned on the TV. And then we watched it in school. In all... I've watched it 15 times against my will and I have seen it's flaws... it makes me sick everytime I hear a song. I scram in anger when the second one came out.
High School Musical is the reason why I don't watch TV anymore.... (I still do but VERY rarely. Maybe once a week I actually SIT DOWN and watch TV.)
Me and my friends think it's a conspericy to turn the younger generations into the brats that they show in the movie. Thus, in the next 5 years, high school WILL be a SPIRIT *cough* swamp like it is a East High.
And now they are already coming out with a 4th.....I pity the world.
I'm sorry if you LIKE High School Musical, but this is my opinion of it and I'm sick of it. Don't start an arguement with me.

the third one is out in the movies this fall. i understand what you are saying about how you are sick of hsm and how it is so fake and full actors but you got to understand that it is for kids and not us. and it gives something kids can watch without the cussing and stuff.

I'm certainly glad that I grew up with 90's cartoons. When I was a kid we didn't have "Hannah Montanna" and "High School Musical" hopping about everywhere; we had good, classic childrens' cartoons. Ptah!
May Hudgens and Elfron both meet the same fate most big celebrities do: shining bright then fizzling out in a sad puff of burnt-out, degraded, pitiful waste of flesh.

I grew up Nick charatoons and good charatoon movies (meaning Disney's GOOD animations. Before their animation got screwed up.) I loved things like Hey Arnold and Angry Beavers the most.
And I will be laughing the ENTIRE time... Hudgens is a nude prostitute to Zack, which is why HSM 3 is in theaters. She sent nude pictures of herself to him. Now she's ban from Disney Channel. I hope she gets dumped by him and when news gets out that he is single again, that he gets crushed to death by the mob of fangirls. (bwhahaa.... just talking about it makes me happy)

Mmm... Disney certainly does have very low standards nowadays. Walt Disney ran Disney like a well-oiled machine: respect, quality, care and diligence. Now Disney has become a massive abyss of suck and horror... poor actors and actresses, and even worse quality in the work. Bah. If I could kick one franchise off the face of the Earth it would be the new-age Disney.

It really does. In fact, I was talking to an animator (or at least that is what he went to SCHOOL for) at disney world. He was all sad and he said his real job right now is to design clothing of ONLY the disney characters. He went to school for animating and that's his DREAM. He went to Orlando in hopes of finding a studio job. Instead he found an empty studio... and found out everything has been moved to California. So he asked the head people if they needed another animator in California. They said, "Do you know anything about 3-D animation?" "Uh no? I have a dream in making CLASSIC charatoons since I was a KID!" "Well...to bad. Yo' dream ain't coming true." So... after he told me his sad story he said, "Ya know... I had a dream to make excellent, traditional charatoons. Now all they are doing are 3-D charatoons. The next "traditional" animated film is coming out in 2009. And inbetween, 3-D animations GA-LOR! And these people won't even take my original characters... Disney has changed and I don't like it." Even disney itself is not liking the change.

And that's the truth, too... it's really sad how much our society has changed, and how different the storytelling is. The old movies were all based on classic literature- right down to the Lion King and 101 Dalmations- but the new films are poorly written and thrown together. Cars falling in omg love. Kids going to the future. Fish adventures.
Ptah. It's commendable but forgettable. I'm just hoping that Frog Princess movie will be worth the wait.
