Honestly, I have not been able to get out there in almost 2 years due to having 1/2 of my meniscus removed. It's been a very long recovery and lots of PT still. You have to do a lot of squatting, lifting, dogs pulling you on their chains, etc. My knee is not quite ready for that yet. I still have to wear KT tape everyday and a soft brace. I haven't even tried to run yet, but I suppose if someone was chasing me, that would be a different story, right after I mace them in the eyes, lol.

O Wow...I didn't know you still where recovering...

I can walk through the zoo. I think I told you that I still wear KT tape on my knee, but when I go to the zoo, I use two KT tapes to cover the whole knee and I also bought a soft cloth type brace I can just slip over the tape. I can always sit down if I need to, even on the trails...they have benches. Besides, I walk the trails slowly, not because of my knee, but to look for even the smallest of things to photograph, like mushrooms and such.

Are you just going to drive through several random states? Going to the West coast?  Where all are you wanting to go, state wise? I would love to drive cross country. Some states I have no desire to visit, but I have many on what I call my Fantasy Bucket List. I call it fantasy, because it probably will never happen, but it's nice to dream.
