I really love the mood in this motive, very bright and sunny despite all the highrisers and the black/white scheme!
Many pictures in this style are too dark and make Times Square seem sort of threatening (if you know what I mean).
But this one is awesome!
I'd really love this one as a canvas print...
What time was it taken? "Feels" like an early afternoon in spring - then again, I might as well compare myself as I'll come to NY again in April

It has been taken in December: very very cold and windy day! I'm sure about that exact time it was, but I think it was indeed early afternoon! (sun was quite high for a winter day)

Wow... I love the use of fisheye lens that you used on this, it works perfectly for the scene. I love the combination of black & white and color on it, too, and the fact that you highlighted the yellow taxis. They dominate the picture and works perfectly with the title. Lol, "invasion of the taxis"...they really seem like an army of their own in New York, don't they?
