I dont want to grow up, if anything I want to get younger cuz being an adult sounds like more I can handle and not worth the price of freedom. But I cant get younger so I have to try to except that. BTW I still love the peice and the meaning!

I definitely feel that way about growing up: I'm a brand new college student and I am honestly terrified about growing up. I just want to hide in a hole forever, never having to come up, because I'm so afraid of failing. I feel like if I'm myself, I'll screw up, because I always do. So I try to be someone else, so I can make everyone happy. But I'm just so terrified, of everything from failing classes to wasting time and opportunities.Β

This sums up my feelings on growing up, pretty well.Β It was scary for me when I finally got out into the world and got my own place, and I never really saw the freedom aspect of it because there really wasn't a point growing up when I wanted more freedom.Β I was a homebody.
