I love the rough quality of this, and the way the detail kind off falls of the further you get from them. Really communicates where your focus was at, and that translates really well with conveying the characters own attentions. Something about this grabs my attention though, and kindles my interest in their story. I wish I could articulate that better. xD but yeah, it's really great work.Β

Yeah, the coloring really lends itself well to the picture. Gets that late-in-the-evening or old interior lighting warmness right on the money. And the body language of the characters is smile worthy.
Awesome to see how far you've come, in looking at the original drawing! Though, I think I like the pencil-on-lip balancing from it more, heh.
