Please don't kill me for what I am about to say:Approximately 73% of black/white pokemon I've seen so far look like s***. I'm serious, it's like they fired all the old designers and replaced them with new guys. I mean, half of them don't even fit the pokemon style!
As for the rest of those statistics, the other 27% are OK or I have no opinion on.
And .0009% I actually like. Exactly one: hihidaruma. Of course I have absolutely no idea how to pronounce that so I've just been calling him "fire monkey."
It's like a cross between a cartoon gorilla, a Chinese dragon and some deranged Muppets character (a combo that's always a win in my book ;D )

Any gen that has a dragon that'd fit in with the Beatles, a sarcophagus, Johnny 2x4, GREAT FLAMING EYEBROWS, a dwippy-nosed polar bear, an Archaeopteryx, a lamp, a cotton-sheep-thing, Timon, Pumbaa, pants, and GREAT FLAMING EYEBROWS is a winner in my book.

they actually really do that every gen, on purpose. While Sugimori supervises and comes up with some himself. Each gen is actually supposed to have its own "feel" and style.

Yeah, but they took it a little to far this time. The majority of the old pokemon have that angular anime style. But these new ones look a bit too cartoony.

heh, if thats how you feel! I couldnt be happier with a more round, cartoony look, but thats just my fave kind of style XD
