Description
Finally finished the colored version of this. This probably took a good one or two weeks to work on just the colors.Anyway! This is for the Basilisk event Part 2 for #Voleros-Saga
Story Behind the Picture:
With how dark the sky had become lately Zren was beginning to have difficulty deciphering whether it was night or day. The black sun in the sky told her it was day, but her body told her otherwise.
The griffin stretched, letting out a yawn. It wouldn't hurt to just take a nap, right? Fiyero had left to gather firewood and it wasn't like there was much out here to worry about. her golden eyes shifted uneasily to the black orb hanging ominously in the sky. Besides the cold aura it had brought with it's appearance this strange phenomena hadn't really brought on anything else. She still couldn't help, but be a bit more cautious than normal.
She slowly got to her feet, startling a roosting Silas who took off only to perch on a branch above her. He let out a loud screech, extending his wings as if to say that he didn't appreciate the disturbance. Zren seemed to just shrug off the bird's complaints as she began to climb up onto the first thick, sturdy branch.
Removing her staff from it's strap, she placed both the stick and her messenger bag against the trunk of the tree. Nestling down against the trunk she folded her wings around her to help keep the chill out.
No sooner had she shut her eyes when a bright flash of light lit up behind her eyelids, causing her to open her eyes alarmed. Gripping the tree to keep balance in her shocked state, her golden eyes darted around her. It didn't seem like there was anything nearby that could have caused the flash. Then her eyes settled on the sun.
Eyes once again wide she quickly got to her feet, her legs suddenly feeling weak. Her hand reached out to grip the tree for support. Bracing herself against a sudden wind she watched the horizon as the black sun began to melt. A loud howl then filled the air chilling her to the bone.
A bad omen... She thought to herself, gripping the the bark of the tree. Something bad was about to happen...

ahhh yeah same, like i remember making an animal for the group and roleplaying through notes with a few people but i wasn't very active in the chats. then again i was like 14 at the time lmao

And this is the time Fiyero comes running back after seeing the sun and nearly knocks her out of the tree in his panic LOL XD;;;;

I might not have time to colour my entry, but my last one wasn't coloured either and they excepted it just the same, so hopefully it will be ok this time too XD;;; I am starting to sketch it out a bit though - sadly, I just don't have time to draw more then just Fiyero in the picture, but Zren and Towa will at least be MENTIONED in my mini story that will go with it ( maybe even have a big part in it haha ) and I'll be drawing a sun spawn as well ;u; Though I'll be getting the crack event pic done first X3 Hopefully by tomorrow ;A; ( non-coloured too... but... ah well, better then nothing XD;;; )
PFFFF Fiyero will like, run back, see a sun spawn along the way and be like " ZREN! GET DOWN! *pounces on her* " LOL ...Then chaos will ensue ._____.;

Yeah. I was probably going to just submit the line art if I couldn't finish the coloring by the deadline. - Can't remember if it said on the blog whether that was allowed or not- I might have to do that for the crack event though. xx;; I'm probably not going to really get time to work on it till monday or tuesday next week. OTL
And good luck on finishing them both in time. >w< You can do it~!

Ah okay, that's good lol. I was afraid everyone was was like "Grrr is she gonna reply? D<" But then again, we all have to wait a teeny sometimes on the other & you guys have more rps & art to do then me so you probably don't notice as much XD
Well, pretty much I can't go back this semester ><; We tried to get a loan cause after the car I couldn't pay for any of it on my own as I go. So the one place I could get a loan fast & a good one w/ not too much interest a month we called & I answered a few questions they needed then she asked for a cosigner which my mom said she'll try & see if we would get approved w/ her. She answered a few things & when she asked for our past address she gave it & she asked for the phone number for it. She told her it was the one we have now & she was all like "Um, that's not it. It's not the one in our records." & then my mom told her again that seriously was the one it was & the woman acted all snotty repeating herself. She told her the number that we had at the apartments before the previous & even my grandpa's number cause he has been a cosigner for my mom in the past. She STILL was being a bitch acting like we were lying or something. We told her the old house we lived in is now a local museum so maybe they screwed up & have THEIR number now & what did they want us to do lie to her about our old phone number? & she continued to be a bitch so my mom just said whatever & hung up on her. So sometime we are going to go to there & sort that out cause that was bullshit. So yeah, by then we didn't have time before the first payment so I cancelled my classes...now we have more time on to find somewhere at least. Plus I need a second job either way right now w/ what I pay now plus the car payments & insurance. So when I go back spring or next fall I'm going to just take one or two classes. One or two which I failed the semester that I screwed myself over w/ my two jobs & get those grades replacing the old Fs instead of fighting those Fs w/ new grades on new classes only & then I'll soon be on financial aid again!!
I already got a second job also! I start Thursday. It fits me: Subway! XD It's the one near where I live so I will be walking there too & from. So now I'll be working at two places I've always loved: Library & Subway XP Of course, once I get a full time at the library it's good bye Subway cause the library is where I wanna move up in. lol
lol I already know how he's going to avoid not getting run over but I don't know how the horse will react & what will happen to him before each of them knows the other isn't a threat so this will be fun XP

And wow, you should totally call a higher up person and talk to them about the poor service you guys got. I hate people that act like that. If you're going to act like you shouldn't be in a job that involves dealing with people on a daily basis. ee;;
So you have payments on your car? That sucks. D: - glad she doesn't have payments- But then again i have a decent amount of car repairs to do on the car. xD;; - Has probably spent well over a 1,000 in the year she's had it- xx;;
Awesome. Do you get like... free food or something? - Loves subway- That's usually where I go on my lunch at work if I have the money... Which I don't most of the time but yeah. xD Lol.

Yeah, we probably will cause it needs to get fixed & it's bullshit the way she treated us.
Yeah, my car in the end costed $4700. I payed up front $2000 & now I have a payment plan of 2 years only since it's a older car. But after 2 years at least it's over with. Mary's helping w/ it a bit also since she'll use it as well but since I'm paying like 2/3 of it it's mine & in my name. I love my car though X3 I can't wait to show you it. lol
Yup! Free 6 inch under 4 hours & a free footlong over 4 hours. It's awesome! XP I thought I would only get a discount since some people on the net when I was looking up Subway jobs in general reviews some said discount or free & I thought either way is good. But the store I work for is one of the free ones! I also have gone to work three days now & it's actually gone very well 
I can't wait to see your guys posts next :3 Like especially when Xue actually talks to them XD lol

I'll have to work hard and try to get something done for it too ;____; I was planning something big for it, but ended up becoming really busy in the last two weeks and haven't found the time ;A; But I'll work on this and the crack event one within the next week X3 Even if it's just something small, I plan to get something done for it D< LOL

I've got an idea for the crack event too. probably going to start sketching it tomorrow, er, later today before work. Zren's going to be an outdoors-y, hiking kind of girl. xD I'll probably end up doing some quick sketches too. >3>; - Starting to get some ideas of how Zren would react to things in the real world- xD
