Overall I am very impressed with this dramatic piece. There is an excellent sense of high action but at the same time the precision (lack of blur) gives an idea that the viewer is calm and detached, an invulnerable observer.
This is not to say that it doesn't raise questions in the detail. The cannon in the foreground looks beautifully unused, gathering moss for hundreds of years, when clearly it would have been less than ten years old and polished to a shine by eager hands for just the kind of eventuality that is depicted. The ships are far too close for a broadside, and the attacking ship has its sails reefed. Further on we have another ship with one sail reefed and the others are entire Jolly Rogers - not really feasible, since apart from the expense of so much dye a pirate would not want to advertise as such until the very last minute by hoisting its colours. Lastly I have to wonder where there could be such a narrow strait with the depth to receive the draught of all these large warships and still have tall trees to either side.
This is nitpicking though, since the piece is not about realism but more the joy of unbridled fantasy, and in this it excels. The explosion and indeed the entire scene is beautifully rendered, the colours are perfect. Well done.

The lighting is super perfect in this scene and every other detail makes it a very interesting piece to look at for long. Looks very much like a scene captured from a movie! Loved it very much.

What an incredible entry! You definitely depicted pirates life well— so much action; from the cannons firing to them sword fighting. Love the gloomy sky and the ships too

This is insane... I love every detail, so much going on... the ambience, the lights, the perspective. Just great. Hope I can create compositions like this one day May I ask how much time does it take you to create something like this from start to finish?

Finally the hot gave a break!
Incredible piece of art Panji! Well i love pirates! Im almost sure the hard part of this work has been the composition of various pirates......and you did an excellent work indeed the cinematic look is cool!
A great war.....and i love the various explosions that with the use of the flags help to create a great visual dynamism! TEc speaching 1 point perspective is still one of the most fun and accessible point of view and you show to work excellent with it!
2 pp and 3 pp are really a pain in the ass This friday i will upload my first work in 3 pp. Only creating is possible understand how much is hard at the begin. About that work i will have to talk a lot with you so prepare your self haha
