I'm literally avoiding many protagonist and antagonist stereotypes in this series as much as I can, while not stating the obvious.
But since this series has sooooo many characters, there are chances that you may find at least one character that is similar to yours by personality.

Utopians are just like how Team Plasma, Skull, Aether and Rocket goes, to make the world a better place according to them/their leaders. The team of baddies is mostly composed of pokemon with odd typings who had wreched backstories apart from those in the Fushigi. They focus forced equality, and not equity according to law. But some members of Utopians are only in the team for their sake and revenge for others. Some are forced and convinced by Destroyer to join his league. Destroyer forces his victims, who oppose his words and are caught/kidnapped by his members, and traitors to touch more than two z meteors, resulting them to mutate into a horrific uncontrolled beast. He has a sanctuary full of these creatures underground and keeps them as his "prizes". He aims to forcibly mutate Avian.

Destroyer has never been to Acadeium.

Avian is potentially strong and remotely unstoppable as a mutant, despite being considered the weakest of the elemental trio, yet Avian has 6 perfect ivs gained from father and mother. With high ivs, z typings are oddly more powerful than usual.

After Avian's team crashed some of his invasions, Destroyer has a plan to kidnap and force suffering unto him when seeing his potential. But he targets capturing his weak spot at heart, Equine, again, to make him defenseless. Once Destroyer mutates him and finds something to control him, he will be powerful with his monstrous army and take over the continent.

How likely is it that Destroyer's plan could happen? If Avian is so powerful (with the 6 perfect Ivs and all), does Destroyer have the means to take him out? and how exactly does Equine play into that??

Avian is sworn to protect Equine, but at the same time, sworn to teach her how to defend for herself, since she lacks the knowledge of fighting. Notice in Yana's written description, Avian was said to be depressed when she left Acadeium. I won't spoil you why.

Now here's the bad news. Equine has incredibly low ivs. Good spirited but bad skills.
This is the opposite for Avian, bad spirited but obtains good skills. Even though he has good leadership.
Yana is 50/50 and she avoids the obviousness of having a certainty of history. She looks like the one with a horrible backstory but she is perfectly fine with her standards, and is not an edgy teenager. She appears to be one still.

Many enemies target Equine before targeting Avian, but no matter how hard each one tries, Avian is swift to make harmonious alliances with his members intelligently.
