THIS DUDE TOOK UP THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF MY PAGE. Hell for my scanner.Here's another form Narmad can take - the other is the form of an eagle. Just wanted to have a play around with designs for this one. It's not often that I draw anthropomorphic things, so this was pretty fun
Head is based on a Philippine Eagle which has an awesome crest that seemed appropriate
Turns out that there is a deity in Kapampangan myth called Galurâ. Based on the name, obvious description, and presence of a snake deity (Nága ) this was probably influenced by Hindu, or Buddhist ancestors. Kept thinking about Garudamon from Digimon the whole time
Not sure if I'll colour him in...

Oooh nice! I have a love/hate for these birdmen! They look mighty awesome! But dislike since they become a bit more facially awkward (to me, hard to explain how). If you have the time and motivation, I would love to see this badboy colored!
