Mediator Amberly accompanies Runa and Quesnel on a trip to Skydas in order for the former to find and inform their father of the news they've received about the death of their uncle - his brother - Ozan.

Halfway to the Eastern pack, a Skydas Seeker comes across the small patrol. Elian listens to their reasonings for their journey to Skydas and his eyes grow wider with a deeper understanding and recognition. The golden wolf at the end of the line seems to be the perfect match to the description Lennart had given Seekers in searching for Sukka's lost child. As to not overwhelm, Elian doesn't speak about this, but is quick to lead the Taikans to Skydas as Amberly continues to explain their plight.

Runa is somber on the journey. A downcast mood that not even Quesnel's comforting smiles can erase. Regardless, they are grateful for her support, even if it is hard to express. But nothing can unknot the worry in their stomach... Would Sukka be upset that they had been hiding in the South for so long?
