You know that stage where you just don't care any more? Totally brushing that stage as I submit this now. Took WAY too long to finish due to my epic procrastination skills. It's probably rammed with errors like most of my stuff as well, so have fun with that!

This is my first foray into this new series. Where exactly are they? Why does the place it look the way it does? How are they even there in the first place? These and a whole swathe of other important questions remain unanswered right now.

I know, it's a slow start, but hopefully the characters, their relationships, and the fanon describing this bizarre Internet world will become apparent over time. (If you can't cope without knowing more right now, send me a note with any questions and I'll give you some in-depth explanation…)

I think these guys have a lot of potential and could get up to some very interesting shenanigans. The upcoming comics are planned out and the artwork underway… looking forward to drawing some of those, heheh.

As before, big thanks to , , and for their designs of Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer respectively!

I am intrigued. A story about the pony forms of five different web browsers. I wonder if the characteristics of their distinct functionalities play in to their personalities...

I used to think "Hhnng!" was just an expression. I didn't think it was a sound people actually made when they saw something extremely adorable.

Parallax...? You have produced my very first "hhnng" today I... Thank you :')

I just wonder how the creators of those browsers would react watching this. I mean other than laughing. Wonderful comic there.

At the asylum, where they belong!
Iceweasel, Galeon, and Epiphany were cannibals, who wore skins over themselves.
iCab kept badgering old, retired people to pay him money.
Konqueror was never the same after that tryst with Apple.
Dillo tries, but he has ... handicaps. He's a savant at text and prose, but anything sufficiently complex just trips him up.
NetSurf is trying to find his niche, but tends to get flaky and bug out when you give him any heavy lifting to handle.

Cab (Crystal Atari Browser) was my first browser on my Atari and iCab Later on the Mac. I'm one of the old, retired people. 36 Years is not that old i think.

Iceweasel is more a (evil) twin than an Imposer or cannibal.

I loved this. Glad to see you finally managed to complete this. The best part about this was that, not the fact that the art was superb, bu the fact that you managed to give each character a personality and a clear relationship with each other. ivy is being an eccentric derp, which i found the highlight of this. chromia and pepsi (i found it strange you called her pepsi, by the way. pepsi is usually associated with blue, red, and white, with coke being solely white and red) have a close relationship in comparison with the others. Chromia seem to be the happy-go-lucky, cheerful one and Pepsi seems to be the knowledgeable one that likes to show off. Kindle is the witty one, and saffire is the quiet one that talks only when necessary. Something i wish you had done with Kindle would be change the dynamics of her flame mane. If she is angry, perhaps a larger blue flame, since that color is in the logo. If she is deflated in some way, perhaps a smaller flame. A suggestion for the Chromia would be for chromia's pin to spin when she is thinking extremely hard.

All in all, a great comic which i hope to see the second part of before december, hopefully.

Hey, tell me, are these friends, the 5 elements of the network, where they go to the internet & into websites, files, MMORPGs (& they actually become part of the game's program, making them actual players in the game), etc... all in trying to hunt down viruses, bugs, & hackers in the internet, & destroys them from doing any harm in the internet, & the main villain is the god of the network, Cyber Fortress (you know, the 3 armed, face changing, warrior god, from mythology) who is determent to try to head out into the real world, & spread his god-like ruling into the real world, & he rules with an iron fist, sending his cyber warriors to attack the five elements, for messing with his network, cause he think that the network should just try to help themselves, so... yeah, is like that?

Whenever I think of personifications - or ponyfications as the case may be - of internet browsers I always get so sad.
Mostly from imagining how sad IE must be whenever its users use her for downloading one of the others, as commonly happens, thus leaving her all alone. Again.

On an unrelated note: I find it interesting how Ivy's "voice" is different in the intro compared to the comic proper

I'm hearing Ivy's rant in Sheldon Cooper's voice. I have no idea why. It makes it ten bazillion times funnier, though. Which says a lot, because this is freaking hilarious!
