By request! Winamp's icon, now with more pony.

You gotta help me name this character. She needs a name! I was thinking Ampa, but it's late and I'm tired and I'm not sure if that's a good name or just a brainfart. Ampera? Ampera sounds good.
Again, bit of a rush job, but they're proving lots of fun to do and I could do with the break from animating.

sry to inform you about this but the windows icon on this one does not work well compared to the others. the others have many 7-8 layers of different resolutions while this one only has 4. the problem is when an icon is medium sized the icon looks extremely pixelated and bad on the eyes. could you please re-do this one like the others?

Anyway, have you tried the basic icons yet? Like My Computer, Recycle Bin, etc..

I was pondering Vinyl for this, but I thought her colouring might be a good match for an iTunes icon or something? Then I began to agonise over whether Vinyl would ever go near iTunes and if I would just start some sort of audiophile flame war on the Internet if I used her for that, so I'm really not sure, heheh.
No I haven't yet, still pondering the specifics. The challenge for a lot of these is that I want the original logo to still be mostly there/recognisable, and it's tough to figure out how to get characters to interact with those in a meaningful way. Still, the Recycle Bin and My Computer are fairly easy to do I reckon.

Winamp is a popular (primarily music) player, powerful, expandable stuff. I used to swear by it back in the days when iTunes would bring your average computer to it's knees...
...which I guess it still does, for a lot of people, hehe...
