Description This flower is indigenous to Southern Africa and the photograph was taken in the hot/dry biome of the Eden Project in Corwall where it was doing extremely well.

I love the lighting and the color! They pop . It is a really good composition.. The low depth of field makes you focus on the flower, and the lighting enhances it .

thanks..yes the last of the afternoon rays were coming into the biome and this flower was in a darkish corner but beautifully highlighted by the rays

thanks- yes I thought so too. I was hoping to get a better depth of field but my lens wouldnt allow me a small fstop - but it did not seem to matter in the end
