Wow you really travel a lot!
What camera do you use? I love how the zebra is the only thing in focus here - you really got your settings right (admirable 'cos I don't ) ... Do you mind me asking what settings you used?

thanks a lot for your comment This photo was taken so long ago now that I really cant remember, although it would probably have been taken with a zoom lens which is always useful as the background would be less in focus that the subject that is being focused on..probably around f 5.6 or so

..I can see you have been very busy checking my gallery out. Thank you very much and apologies that it has taken a while to respond. I went away to Cornwall for a few days and had no access to a computer on the cliffs of the Cornish coast
..got a couple of interesting new deviations though..

Seems to have stood the test of time much better, another great photograph with nice colour and depth of field.

yeah, thanks this one is a negative, not a slide. For some reason or other, the slides have not lasted as well, although my dad has some slides from the 60s which have lasted fantastically well..so I guess the modern slide materials dont last as well..

Odd. I was under the impression that slides were meant to be more hardy, although, I suppose they always need more sensitive condition requirements than negative film.

yes, I would also have thought so too, but maybe the chemicals in slides are more susceptible to damp, than negatives...

Yes. I think they require cool, dry storage to be preserved well, something to consider.
