Description
This tutorial explains how a buyer and an artist can set up payment using deviantART's Commission Widget. Through this process, the artist receives CASH through PayPal. The artist DOES NOT receive any points. There is a two week delay between when the buyer sends payment and when the artist receives the funds through PayPal.

But what if you only want points? Do you HAVE to convert money to points to actually GET points?

Use the Donation Widget instead. Both the artist and commissioner use points in that case.

You may need to refresh the page after adding the widget to your profile. Click the icon at the top right of the widget, "Edit this Widget", click the pencil icon on your commission, and left click on the "Add examples from your gallery" section to open the "Add media" option.

There's a section called "Available Balance" on your Earnings page. It's the amount you've earned from commissions and that have passed the 2-week delay period:

I have a question: When someone pays with points through the widget and i go to transfer them to my paypal, can I use a paypal with a different email than this account? Do I somehow connect this account with my paypal? If so how do I do that? :0

There should be a location to specify your PayPal email address when you make a withdrawal:

You won't be able to request a commission from yourself - the staff hide the button from you. It looks to me like you currently have one commission offer available.

As far as I know there is no Correspondence Item sent to the buyer (only to the artist). You should be able to see the payment in your Points Transaction page though:

I cover when to use either option at the start of the tutorial. Using the Donation Widget means the buyer has a little less protection, but as the artist you receive a greater quantity of points and get them two weeks sooner than the alternative.

How do I delete old commissions that I no longer want people buying?

Try refreshing your profile page then scrolling down to the Commission Widget and clicking the pencil icon at the top right of the widget. From tehre there should be an "x" you can click to remove specific commission offers.

I have problem with these widgets.. I'm a buyer, when i'm wanted to send these points to the commission widgets, it always gave me an error... Only i don't understand really well at things, The error says " Some of your settings were not saved, due to a connection error"
What does this mean?

Hmm, I'm not familiar with that error. Have you tried another computer? If you can recreate the issue on two computers, you may want to send a ticket to the help desk
