Okay, I know it's been done probably a million times already, at least, but I wanted to draw me some Snape the other day.
I finally found a way to make smooth lines again in Sai and I was playing around with that tool and sketched this just to practice the lines with the tool I made.
Only once I sketched this I had to colour it, and... well you can see where that went. This is about three days (give or take a few hours) sitting in my crappy chair at my desk with my feet falling asleep as I coloured this. I really need a new chair.

I used both Sai and Photoshop, because let's face it: I hate the way Sai resizes images. So I use Photoshop for that and the odd filter or touch here and there. Most of the work is done in Sai though, since as win as Photoshop can be, Sai is way easier and blends nicer and... yeah well I think they both compliment each other well.

Also I kind of tried to do an almost realistic-ish style but still keep it with in the realm of anime/manga styles. I don't know if I succeeded, but drawing Snape's nose in my normal anime/manga style is just... well it's just crap like that.

Oh! And guys check out my crappy painted background. This is why I don't do backgrounds much. Mine always suck. I should just do a bunch of practices on backgrounds and scenes and things, but I never have the patience for it. My muse keeps asking me to draw people, and he doesn't just ask. The freaking thing pesters and snivels and tortures me until I do as he says. Ugh!

And... do you think it's too blue? I don't know. I wanted it to be a night scene (or there abouts) and I figured, aside from the mist at the background that kind of glows (moon light maybe... I don't know I just wanted light in the background) the patronus would be the only source of light and it would give off a blue-ish white light sooo.... I dunno. Still learning about light and colour so... I guess it shows. I am rambling about a ton of stuff with this image. TLDR here right? Yeah...

So Snape is (c) J K Rowling

And I love my Sai once again. Now if only I can get the original tools in Sai to stop having pixelated lines because I would love to use them again.

I cried so hard reading the book, and cried just as hard when I saw the movie. I was one of those fans that flipped and flopped over Snape and whether I liked him or not.

In the end I decided that it doesn't matter if I like him, or if he's a likeable character, what matters is that he did absolutely everything he did for Lily, and that is freaking awesome!

It's funny, around the sixth book someone created a community on orkut called 'I always believed in Snape' and when the seventh book came out they closed the community to new people and only the ones who truly believed him could stay in there hahaha I'M THERE! \\o
I always liked Snape, I'm a Slytherin
What about you?

Ravenclaw, except on Pottermore, where they put me as a Gryfindork. *sigh* Ah well. Most of the people I know are Slytherin though... Wonder what that says about me.

Why would they close it? I totally believe in Snape. I mean he isn't a perfectly good character, but I love that best about him. He's flawed and tormented, and got a really raw deal. It makes me love him all the more. I'm sure lots of people feel the same, and never got the chance to find the community before book 7.

Ah well, nothing doin' now I guess.
