in the dark under the stairs
I'm the shadows that
are affiliated with scares
I'm the old friend
that you never want to face
I'm the dream of yours
that you never want to chase
I'm the sickly sweet
that tests your temptation
I'm the nightmare that
feeds on confrontation
I am who I am
Let me introduce myself
My name is Torment

I really, REALLY like this poem. I usually don't like poems with rhyme schemes (I'm usually a more free verse and prose type person), but this one just caught my attention. Very nice work
