Description What is a Pppr?

Ppprs are odd, semi-amphibious, semi-reptilian entities that are highly diversified and generally very active. They exist on separate, mirrored planes of existence from our own, and their rules of existence varies highly different from that of humans or most naturally living things, which has lead to some very interesting studies. They are capable of switching from different planes of existence and many serve as silent watchers, tricksters, and loyal guardians to the human race. Or maybe they're just really vivid drug trip creatures.
General build:

While a highly diverse species, most have long snouts, long necks, long limbs, claws, and many, thin sharp teeth. Their most notable feature, however, is their lack of a midsection. THESE ARE A GORE SPECIES. Very few aren't split somehow. Due to the nature of their existence, many body parts often are somewhat nonsensical. Like their floating eyes and unusual innards. Their skin is not unlike human skin, but can range anywhere from dry and rough to almost slimy, and in some cases, non-corporeal altogether. Some ppprs have fur and feathers, but it is not a common feature.
Other stuff:

They are a nonbinary species, each with both male and female reproductive systems.

While they do have teeth and mouths, they don't feed on actual food. They instead feed off of some abstract concept from the corporeal plane, such as thoughts, time, or fears. The teeth's main purpose is for defense or intimidation.

They are a sentient species, but they're still in touch with their more feral roots, many preferring messing around and causing havoc over doing anything asked of them. Younger ppprs are more instinct driven. They commonly communicate through telepathy.

Due to time working differently from plane to plane, lifespans can vary from minutes to eons due to perspective.

Their respiratory systems can vary depending on whether the pppr is amphibious or not. Most breathe through their mouth while amphibious variants breathe through their skin.

Their heights can differ dramatically, with more divine types standing at 11-14ft tall. Average ppprs stand at about 7-8ft tall.

Wings are exclusive to select divinity types.

Highly saturated colors are most common, but there are no limits on patterns, accessory traits (head decor, spines, body fins, ect.), or designs.

Is it possible for them to just have a spine showing? Like have nothing for their mid section? o3o

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

parenthesisgrey In reply to TheDarkPhoenixQueen [2017-05-20 21:06:34 +0000 UTC]

They generally don't have a spine that connects their top to their bottom half unless there's no separation at all.

Not at this time. It will be open later, but plants are considered a divine trait.

here you go:

Salt + Pppr : Some basic rulesHello! I'm really excited to see how much enthusiasm has been built for this little species.
There's some basic rules as to how this semi-closed species works.
What it means to be semi-closed: In this case, it means that while it doesn't cost anything to create one, I ask that you ask permission before creating a pppr and run it by me so we can make it an Official™ pppr and have it registered as yours. This makes it easier to keep track of who owns which fella and adds just a bit of security to make sure no one is stealing someone else's pppr. YOU MAY CO-OWN A PPPR DESIGN, but make sure it is noted somewhere that it is owned by both and registered as a co-owned pppr.
Another rule of it being closed means that certain traits are not always allowed to make sure the group does not become saturated with divine/rare ppprs.
Maker rules:
Please ask permission before creating a pppr so we can note you as the owner and make sure your design follows the basic trai
