storyline:

Peter approached the area that the signal had given him, a somewhat nervous feeling in his gut. He had hunted zombies before, ever since the outbreak. Usually, he would hunt along with his mentor, Tony, however, for some reason he was not along with him on this mission. Nick Fury hadn't told him why, and even when he asked, the man seemed to dodge his question.

``Approaching target.`` Peter stated over his coms, to which there was no reply on the other side. He huffed, walking closer to where the signal was sending him. It was awfully quiet, and it gave him an odd feeling. ``Mr. Fury?`` He questioned. Then finally there was a response.

``Just keep going, Peter. You're nearly there.`` The gruff voice responded in his ear.

Peter only sighed in response, letting out a frustrated groan soon after. Then, he heard a crash of cardboard boxes to his right, down one of the alleyways. It made him jump at first, but he couldn't help the usual nerves that crept into his throat as he stalked toward the moving object.

``Alright, Mr. Zombie, it's time to meet your-``

Peter stopped, horrified at the scene before him. His mentor- Tony- It-It was-

``Get out of your head!``

Peter couldn't breathe. He was choking on nothing. He was shaking all over, uncontrollable anguish and fear coursed through his frame. ``M-Mr. Stark?``

The creature before him that was once his mentor, his adoptive father, snarled before him. His head craned forward and greenish blood dripped from the sides of his mouth. It couldn't be him, it was lab night last night- They ate Pepper's homemade banana bread last night-

``Peter! Just do it!``

WOW IM QUITE PROUD OF THIS ONE, although i did it through tears. ANYWHO i saw the new trailer of What If and i saw zombie tony and apparently there will be zombie hunters. im TERRIFIED. what if peter has to hunt a zombified tony???
