Hello everybody, here!

Okay, so this is the first event to be held mainly on Tumblr! We're still putting it up here on dA for those who don't want to make the move to Tumblr or Instagram. is kindly managing the group here for me, but if you have any questions about this and/or future events, we'd prefer that you contacted me through the Buttibi Tumblr blog (buttibiworkshop.tumblr.com/ ) or my Instagram (www.instagram.com/nephilauwu/ ). If you are unable to contact me through these platforms, contact and she'll relay your message to me.

So without further ado, let's start the 1st Buttibi DTA Event!!

First, we'll list the rules! Please note that if the rules are not followed you will be barred from entering this event.

1. Each entrant can try for both adopts, but can only win one.
2. Each entrant can draw the adopts as many times as they'd like.
3. Quality over quantity is preferred.
4. Each entry gets 1 numbered ticket, winners will be chosen through Random.org upon the DTA's conclusion.
5. The winner will receive the adopt and all the art drawn of them by the entrants.
6. No NSFW art please, this is a child-friendly group.
7. The DTA ends the 1st of July 2020, so make sure to have your entries finished by then! Remember to submit your entries to the "contest entries" folder in the group gallery!

And with that out of the way, here are the adopts! The theme for this event's adopts is "defying conventions"! These Buttibi are naughty and refuse to follow the rules! Similarly, their traits are unconventional and defy the Trait Sheet rules. How scandalous!

When drawing them, please use the colour palettes beneath each adopt for reference. They're both available as downloadable files for a better look, the weird pink lines are just anti-theft stuffs in case suspicious folks sneak in to grab 'em.

ADOPT 1: Rebellious Rainbow (sta.sh/01o0jxwfatks )

Traits:
Round Buttons (C)
Short Ears (C)
Patterned Buttons (R)
Defiant Traits - Mismatched, multicoloured ears; multicoloured insides
Ambidexterous, can pull thread from either button

This rambunctious lil Buttibi is always up to mischief! She simply can't sit still and is always looking for new pranks and games to play.
She frequently changes her hair colour with the magic-infused glitter in the vial around her neck. She has glitter in the 8 colours found on her buttons!
Her eyelashes are always red, however, as that is her natural colour.

ADOPT 2: Rotten Blossoms (sta.sh/0prae7rpzrz )

Traits:
Sakura Buttons (R)
Kitty Ears (UC)
Fluffy Tail (UC)
Patterned Buttons (R)
Defiant Trait - Patterns constantly shift
Left handed, pulls thread from right button

This Buttibi is rather taciturn. He's extremely antisocial and will go out of his way to avoid others. He always wears a forced scowl to ward people off.
When he lies, breaks rules, or does something else similarly "bad", the black patches on his buttons, tail and insides grow.
He carries around pens with which he doodles on his skin. If he draws with permanent markers the art stays, like a tattoo! He prefers black ink.

Lastly, this contest is open for everyone, not just members of the group, so feel free to join in! If you don't win, or aren't interested in these designs, there are two other ways to get a Buttibi! You can wait for the next MYO event (these happen every 2 months) or you can get an adopt! Adopts are posted regularly on the tumblr blog and Insta account linked at the top.
