Description
I saw an awesome drawing by Disneyยฎ artist Chris Sanders ( creator of Lilo & Stitch) and I acquired permission from him to do the same drawing with my own treatments added! He said that would be great and he wants to see the finished piece.I admire Chris's drawing and really wanted to do this detailed version based on his original ( much like a singer desires to record their version of someone else s song) with great respect to the original.
This is far from finished...only about 1/3 complete.

AAhh, seriously I get this HUGE smile on my face when I see another update from you of this piece. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning! Hands down this has to be my favorite of any art that I've seen. Anyway, let me calm down...I was just curious but I think you already may know that the little creature at the bottom hasn't earned his halo lol

Sadly, No.....I wish! My full time job is creating designs for the screen printed shirt industry and I am on the computer all day ( Adobe Illustrator) making vector art! Everything you see in my gallery is what I like to do during my lunch breaks and recreation.
Nobody wants to pay for color-less artwork.

I disagree! I bet if you put this on stationary or posters, someone would buy it. My sister refuses to use or decorate with anything in color. XD

I think its not that its color-less and more that its mostly portrait art. The more pictures you do like these which tell a complete story I beleive you will find what youre looking for. THats all people look for is someone who can create something close to a persons dream, world and imagination.

What media are you using? Charcoal? Graphite?
Also, how much work have you pit into this piece so far?
This looks incredible!

Thank You.....It is mostly a 2B pencil and a little "H" pencil in the lighter areas.
What you see here is roughly 3 and a half hours.
The total size will be 11" high by 14" wide (28 x 36cm)
Glad you like this so far...It's gonna get MUCH better soon.

erm...hello
if it's no well kept secret could you...erm
tell me the brand of your pencils?
coz even my 8B pencil get's nowhere as dark as that unless I want to risk holes in my desk
I'd really appreciate that info... if it's no secret taht is
oh, and by the way,
that drawing is amazing; although, I didn't exspect anything less than that after looking at your amazing gallery...
I just totally admire how wet you managed to make that octopus appear and how soft the bunnies(?) look
I bet it'll be mindblowingly awesome once it's finished!
MfG Dabee.

Thanks for having a look in my gallery, Glad you liked my drawings.
I use "Pentel" brand leads in a mechanical pencil.
They are lead refills ( actually, Hi Polymer leads) and they are great for keeping a consistent line weight and thickness. Not to mention, no sharpening!.
