What's up folks! Patchi1995, and today I'm showing you guys, the differences between those versions of Tabaqui, for that of Jungle Book: Shonen Mowgli.

This was him, as an Indian Golden Jackal(Canis aureus indica), the original scavenger for the novels of the Jungle Book, despite jackals are related to coyotes and wolves, than to bwehas(the jackal-like canids lived in Africa, under a genus Lupulella).

Here on the top right corner, besides the jackal on the top left, here's Tabaqui as an East African Aardwolf(Proteles cristata septentrionalis), as what people did see him as a 'striped hyaena,' as what he's depicted. But the truth is, Tabaqui as an aardwolf, despite he's doing the acting for the anime as an antagonistic, meat-eating scavenger who supported Shere Khan the tiger, but he's actually weak, passive, and was way too easy for any bigger predator or bigger scavenger to chase him off, though, like all aardwolves, not only they lived alone to a small cackle of 4 individuals, though the only prey an aardwolf had are termites. Not only that, he did resemble a striped hyaena as people did see him on TV, YouTube, and other streaming video sites, but, again like all aardwolves, he doesn't have the blackness on his throat like striped hyaenas do.

Speaking of which, in the bottom, where this bigger fella dominates Aardwolf!Tabaqui, it's the better and accurate hyaena of the Jungle Book and Shounen Mowgli, even though he shared the roles with his jackal counterpart, Tabaqui, as an Indian striped hyaena(Hyaena hyaena hyaena), for real. Yes, he may resemble an aardwolf, but bigger, stronger, and had the blackness in, not just his throat, but his lower face, giving the similar colors on his head like a honey badger. However, striped hyaenas are not only the most widespread of all hyaenas, but the smallest bone-crushing hyaenas. The jackal got a suprised reaction when he sees the hyaena dominated the aardwolf, as the hyaena threatened the aardwolf to chase him out to Africa.

Striped hyaenas, like all hyaenas, did live in Africa, but they also lived in the Middle East and Southern Asia, including the Indian subcontinent. The aardwolf lived in Northeastern and Southern Africa, and the golden jackal lived in the Southern Asia(from the Middle East to Southeast Asia) and Southeastern Europe.

This was the similar references to Lion Tamer Huckleberry Hound, especially the part where a lion dominates the scrawny one, but it was Hyaena!Tabaqui dominates his aardwolf counterpart, while he knows, he's more better and accurate than Aardwolf!Tabaqui, despite he shares the roles with his jackal counterpart.

Well, I hope MrWolf86 is right about the depictions of Tabaqui from Shounen Mowgli, but let's get to the scripts that's like a comic, though with thought and bubble lines...

Jackal!Tabaqui: What the heck is this?! That aardwolf is in my place for this anime, for the Jungle Book! A rip-off, that's alot pathetic!

Aardwolf!Tabaqui: What did I do?! It was just the acting...

Hyaena!Tabaqui: I am the better hyaena for Shounen Mowgli! In case you notice, that I did share the role with this jackal, but I am better than you! Now butt off, and go eat alot of termites, you insectivorous lookalike!

Aardwolf!Tabaqui: Uh? Thank you, though I did do the acting for you for this anime, and you're right, I am an insectivore. Besides, I almost did look like you, and I have a passive behavior, because I don't want to be a predatory meat-eater.
