This is a portrait i finished about 6 months ago. This is a portrait of Keira Knightly, I really love her as an actress and in my oppion she is such a beautiful person: i just had to draw a portrait of her. I dont really feel this portrait does her beauty justice but i can alway use cratiques so i am deciding to put it up on here. So comment away. Hope you enjoyRelated content

tip: close your eyes more often in the middle of drawing, and imagine it truly in 3D

Oh, very nice indeed! Love the hair--most people find it rather hard to pull off hair (drawing wise, at least). Only one thing throws me--the fact that you can see the iris on the right eye, but not the left, and the light gleaming off them could be lighter to that they would look more alive. Also, it seems like you might need a little photoshop retouching. Graphite usually looks awful when first scanned, and it never hurts to play with the Levels (Image>Adjustments>levels...)

i must agree when i first scanned this wow did it look terrible, it was all purple tinted and stuff, but yeah i am sure it could use a little more tweeking in photoshop
