The backdrop is chaotic for a reason, and the expression is soft for a reason. Just as it is a personal shot, and it's in self-portraits for a reason.

The backdrop is your bedroom. This looks like; "hey! I'm going to grab my camera and take a picture of myself, like, totes and name it something cool!"
Yeah, props for the expression, but you named this picture "Precision"...be more precise. I have no idea what emotion you're aiming to portray and I'm not feeling it.
Regardless of being a self-potrait, there is no style here. It just looks like you put a grey filter over it in PS.
I'm not going to praise something that looks like you put absolutely no effort into. I thought there may be some potential here with a push in the right direction. But if you can't accept critique or opinion on your "work" then that potential is doomed to wither. Whether or not people like what you do is based on their personal opinions and perspective of the piece.
I hope you find this substantial in content. Or perhaps you would prefer a personal opinion some time later. Either way...given your attitude...I highly doubt it will be favourable.

Oh hey, and my response to this is definitely a result of my "attitude".
Look, if you were going to critique it you could have been nicer about it. "i don't particularly care for the backdrop". Whatever. Blindly insulting it is a different thing all together. its definitely not my best work, but i put it up here because i thought some people would appreciate it for what i saw in it.
the name comes from a song by depeche mode, and its the first song i woke up to after I left my boyfriend in America to come home to my family. i woke up to that song the same morning, and took that picture shortly after, because i like to photograph my life.
It's not really my concern if you think it's crappy , or if nobody gets it. I'm not too keen to just spill my guts on here, my clues are in picture format and people can make what they want of them. I might not be the biggest fan of some people's work on here, but i can tell you most of it is a hell of a lot worse than this, and often ends up on front page.
I just feel like if you just don't like it, don't leave hurtful comments.
I completely changed it anyway,
